2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify. When you visit it, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, date and time, the requested file, and information about your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and run it securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation of the website). A data processing agreement is in place with Netlify. Netlify may also process data in the USA. Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Standard contractual clauses are agreed as a fallback.
3. Contact by email
If you email me, I process your details to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I delete the data once the enquiry is settled and no statutory retention duties apply. The mailbox is operated by goneo Internet GmbH (Minden, Germany).
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no third-party content.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt.
